Small dip in gasoline prices last week

    PENNSYLVANIA — As of Jan. 25, average retail gasoline prices in Pennsylvania had fallen 4.5 cents per gallon in the prior week, then averaging $2.74 per gallon. This compares with the national average that has fallen 2.9 cents per gallon in the last week to $2.70 per gallon, according to gasoline price website PennsylvaniaGasPrices.com. Including the rise in gas prices in Pennsylvania during the past week, prices today are 89.1 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago and are 12.4 cents per gallon higher than a month ago. The national average has increased 10.4 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 87.7 cents per gallon higher than this day a year ago.
