Members of the C2C4FSHD bike team stopped at East Stroudsburg University on Monday during their epic cross-country journey to raise awareness of Facioscapulohumeral Muscular Dystrophy, the most common form of muscular dystrophy, which has no known treatment or cure. The group stayed over at ESU Monday night and departed Tuesday for Marlboro, N.J., before completing their journey in Brooklyn. Over a dozen intrepid bicyclists crossed 46 cities across 15 states, covering a 4,200 miles in 54 days, starting at the Space Needle in Seattle on May 27 and ending at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on July 19.
