Division champs in youth soccer

MILFORD — Congratulations were due the Eastern Pike Soccer Club U9 Strikers 03, as the travel soccer team members proudly displayed their Hudson Valley Youth Soccer League Division Championship medals.

In just 14 months of teamwork, dedication, and determination, they went from losing most games to the championship. They recently celebrated with a party and soccer game - against their parents.

The travel program takes pride in the growth and development of its members as athletes, students and responsible young men and women.

They welcome new players to join the program. Children interested in participating in travel soccer are invited to attend the Fall 2012 Travel Tryouts on May 6, May 14, and May 20.
