First big splash of the season

WESTFALL - The Delaware Valley boys’ and girls’ swimming and diving team won their first varsity home meet on Monday, Dec. 5 as they competed against East Stroudsburg North. The final score of the meet was 139-44 for the girls and 140-43 for the boys. Delaware Valley placed first in all 24 events. Among the first place swimmers were seniors Nissa Marione, Tracey Vitchers, Jessi Naughton, Kimberley Wagner, Kraig Vanduzer, and Anthony Sirico. Girls captain Chelsea Koch stated, “I think we’re going to do really well this year. We have a lot of great swimmers, and there’s a lot of great potential.” “We’re practicing every day and we’re doing everything we can to be prepared,” she added.
