Free fishing on Veterans' Day

ALBANY — Haven't fished in a while? Remember the joy of catching a fish again, for free.
On Veterans' Day, Wednesday, Nov. 11, anyone can fish the fresh or marine waters of New York State, with no license required.
The state urges anglers to become an ambassador to the sport, and take a friend or family member fishing for the first time.
