Lady warriors lose home debut

WESTFALL - The Delaware Valley Lady Warrior basketball team suffered a hard loss on Monday, dropping their first home game of the season. The contest against Pleasant Valley ended 27-53. Del Val senior, Stephanie Halliday scored the most baskets for the home team, bringing in ten points. Assistant Coach Leslie Clementoni said that she has high expectations for the young team going forward this season, despite the rough start. She added that this game helped in pointing out the areas in which the team needs to improve. The girl’s next home game is on Dec. 19.
