Registration opens for Tri-State Classic

PORT JERVIS — It's time to start training for the 20th annual Tri-State Classic 5K/10K.

Registration is now open for the race, to be held from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Sunday, Oct. 18, in Port Jervis.

This fall event showcases the change of seasons along the Delaware River. The course sets out from Riverside Park, at the end of King Street.

The first 200 registered runners will get the race's traditional long sleeved T-shirt.

Pre-registration is $28. Groups that pre-register are eligible for discounts. Race day registration is $35. All registrations include lunch.

The race is sponsored by the Tri-State Chamber of Commerce and co-directed by Amador Laput and Robert Schultz.
