Warriors pour it on

WESTFALL - The Warriors boys’ basketball team defeated Sullivan West on Saturday, 49-38. Delaware Valley was trailing by a single point after the first quarter, but managed to secure an eight point lead by the end of the first half. Junior Ryan Murphy led the lead with 25 points, scoring ten within the third quarter. Sullivan West out-maneuvered the Warriors during the last quarter, doubling DelVal’s points, but the margin created in the third quarter was too great to overcome. The Warriors are currently 4-2, and play tonight against Abington Heights.
