Whoosh Bowl — first place

HUGUENOT, N.Y. — The 18u Pride Team for the Kaepa Whoosh Volleyball program took first Place in the Silver Division at the Whoosh Bowl in February.

Kaepa Whoosh is a try-out volleyball organization located in Hugenot, N.Y. with teams ranging from 14u to 18u. These teams travel all over the Tri-State Area including Washington D.C.

The 18u Pride Team planned to compete in several tournaments in March, in Albany, hoping to keep a winning record.

Members of the Pride include: Michelle Ciccone (Middletown, N.Y.), Carissa Dube (Milford), Erin Jones (Slate Hill, N.Y.), Samantha Michalek (Middletown), Brittany Pinkham (Middletown), Stephanie Raap (Middletown), Taylor Risco (New Hampton, N.Y.), Kelly Ross (Tuxedo Park, N.Y.), and Nicole Schaedlich (New Hampton).

Coaching the 18u Pride Team are Brittany and Laura Johnson.
