Young fishers win in commissioners' derby

— Some 142 children attended the Pike County Commissioners' 19th annual Fishing Derby at Lily Pond, located in the Pike County Park on Saturday, May 2.

Random-drawing prizes were awarded to children in various age groups. The largest trout registered was 21 inches long. Fishing poles, rod and reel kits, and various fishing accessories were awarded to the following children for the largest catch:
