Heavy downpours on July 23 didn’t stop Milford, Matamoras and Westfall firefighters from responding to a 7:25 p.m. fire alarm at Delaware Valley High School. There was no fire as the alarm was apparently caused by the passing storms. The Pike County Communications Center logged 25 storm related fire calls, mostly downed utility lines, between 6:45 p.m. Friday and midnight .
