Student program thanks military service veterans

Westfall - In commemoration of Veterans Day, a group of Delaware Valley High School students constructed a presentation which was shown to all history classes on Nov. 10. Mark Valentine, a history teacher, organized the project which took three months to prepare. The presentation was a combination of student-made videos, first person narratives, and a poem. Past and present were connected though the use of both oration and the video. The presentation is in its fifth year of existence since Valentine originated it. Student presenter Nick Tomaskovic commented, “We are forever owing everything that we have to them, the guys that fought in the past from the Revolution up to today, and this is our way of saying thank you, because we can not say emphasize it enough.”
