WESTFALL — Students at Delaware Valley Elementary School are always learning about staying healthy through diet, exercise and good health habits. Students at DVES jumped rope for 100 continuous hours and raised $106.36 to donate to the American Heart Association. Jump Rope for Heart raises money, but also raises awareness of jumping rope as a tool to raise heart rate and raise a person’s fitness level. The jump rope marathon was part health & fitness programs offered under the direction of their DVES health & physical education teachers Mrs. Jennifer Bennett, Mr. Bert Thompson, and Mrs. Angela Grady.
