WESTFALL Students at Delaware Valley Elementary School are always learning about staying healthy through diet, exercise and good health habits. Students at DVES jumped rope for 100 continuous hours and raised $106.36 to donate to the American Heart Association. Jump Rope for Heart raises money, but also raises awareness of jumping rope as a tool to raise heart rate and raise a person’s fitness level. The jump rope marathon was part health & fitness programs offered under the direction of their DVES health & physical education teachers Mrs. Jennifer Bennett, Mr. Bert Thompson, and Mrs. Angela Grady.
