November 17th 2005 was the Great American Smoke-Out, when people around the nation were asked to put out their cigarettes and possibly make a life-changing decision of quitting forever. Several of the “Teens Against Tobacco Use” members created awareness in Delaware Valley High School by displaying names of celebrities who have died due to tobacco related illnesses. Using masking tape, they also outlined bodies of students to represent people who have died of various tobacco related diseases. Pictured are: Samantha Jasmin, Shannon Smith, Kayla Orben, Alissa Pagano, Bridget Wells, Eric Langberg and Mrs. Orben, Delaware Valley’s school nurse.
