MILFORD - After some six months of preparations by their planners, and with no audience on hand, the Milford Township Supervisors Monday approved revisions to the township’s zoning ordinance and subdivision and land development ordinance. Township Secretary/Treasurer Viola Canouse also sits on the planning commission. She said planning consultant Tom Shepstone worked with the commission in what was largely an effort to clarify existing wording. Canouse said the only new section added requires developers of subdivisions of ten or more homes to provide and off-street loading and parking area for school buses, where mailboxes would also be located. The revised ordinances will undergo a last “typo” check before publication, Canouse said.
