Participants are pictured at a Jan. 18 public hearing to get ideas on the uses of the state-allocated, federal Community Development Block Grant for Pike County. County director of Human Development, Christine Obser, said the hearing was attended solely by supporters of the Pike County Library, who are seeking grant money for a new library on East Harford Street. Obser said she and the county’s grant consultant will meet with the Pike Commissioners on Feb. 1 to decide how the annual funding program will be allocated. (Photo by Nick Troiano)
