Supporting PA National Guard Troops
EASTERN PA Turkey Hill Minit Market locations will collect donations during July to be sent to the 6,000 PA men and women serving in Iraq and Afghanistan Operation Hometown Hello is a new initiation by Turkey Hill Dairy and Turkey Hill Minit Markets to support the men and women of the Pennsylvania National Guard serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. The program will run through July, a time when folks celebrate July 4 and the dedicated men and women serving overseas. Operation Hometown Hello, offers everyone a chance to donate small food and personal items to the 6,000 men and women serving in Iraq and Afghanistan with the Pennsylvania National Guard. To participate, folks can either purchase or drop off items at boxes located in each of the 250 Turkey Hill Minit Market locations throughout Eastern, Central and Southern Pennsylvania. Each store will also post a list of the top ten items most requested by Guard troops. Turkey Hill Dairy trucks will then collect the donations and, along with the Minit Markets, pay for the boxes to be shipped overseas. More information about the program, store locations, and the top ten most requested items is available at www.turkeyhillcares.com .
