Three arrested after foot chase

    PORT JERVIS, N.Y. — City Police arrested Jovan Candelario, 22, Luis Candelario, 16, and Jonathan Taylor, 16, all of Port Jervis, on May 28 and charged them with Robbery in the First Degree and Assault in the Second Degree, both felonies, for assaulting two male subjects and stealing a wallet in the vicinity of Jersey Avenue. One victim was treated locally and the second victim was transferred to Westchester Medical Center for treatment of injuries sustained during this attack. The defendants were apprehended by officers in the lower fourth ward after a brief foot pursuit. The defendants were subsequently arraigned in City Court and remanded to Orange County Jail, Jovan Candelario and Taylor were held on $15,000 bail and Luis Candelario on $5,000 bail.
