Traffic study released

    MORRISVILLE - The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission is sponsoring a Feb. 27 information forum to present the findings of the Northerly Crossings Corridor Congestion Mitigation Study, an analysis to assess current and future transportation needs on and around the Milford-Montague Toll Bridge and two other crossings. The forum will also include discussions on the study’s recommendations for reducing traffic congestion. The open house will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Quality Inn at 1220 West Main Street in Stroudsburg, (I-80 Exit 305). There will be a formal presentation of the study’s findings at 5:30 p.m. The Commission initiated the study to examine the current and future transportation needs and the anticipated increased pressures on the area’s transportation infrastructure resulting from regional economic and population growth.
