Trio of moms win online photo contest

Milford — Three moms in Milford are the winners of PikeMoms.com’s ‘Best Back To School Photo Contest.’ Parents of students in Pike County grades Pre-K through 6th entered between August and October. The grand prize winning photo titled “Homework” was submitted by Sarah Czajkowski of Milford. “The photo is of my 1st grader doing homework, lying on the floor in the sun. He is thrilled. He kept saying, ‘I won, I won.’ The prizes are great. We can’t wait to get our photos done and head off to Woodloch. Thank you so much,” said Czajkowski after learning her photo was selected as the Grand Prize winner. Kathy DeLorenzo of PHO-GO Photography was the official judge. “This photograph combines the best elements of good exposure and sentiments in a subtle way,” said DeLorenzo of the winning photo. Czajkowski wins a one-hour, on-location PHO-GO Photography photo session plus prints plus an overnight stay for her family of four at Woodloch Resort. All meals, activities and entertainment are included in her prize package. The second place winner, Linda Platt of Milford, received 12 weeks of age appropriate classes at Kids Play Today in Shohola. The third place winner, Ana Balcarcel of Milford, received a family four pack of laser tag at Costa’s Family Fun Park in Shohola. “Web site users rated and commented on the photos during the contest and really seemed to enjoy capturing this memorable time of year,” said Lisa McAteer of PikeMoms.com. “We hope to make this an annual contest and would like to thank our local sponsors, PHO-GO Photography, Woodloch Resort, Kids Play Today and Costa’s Family Fun Park for the wonderful prize packages.” To see all of the entries log onto www.pikemoms.com.
