Two arrested in recent drug busts

MILFORD — Pike County District Attorney Ray Tonkin announced two recent arrests by the Pike County Detective Bureau. Pike County Detectives, with assistance from the Pennsylvania State Police, arrested two individuals this week for selling drugs. The first person arrested was Jason Agresti, age 28, of Henryville. Detectives arrested Agresti on Nov. 17, at the intersection of Rt 84 and 739 in Blooming Grove Township. According to the criminal complaint, Agresti is alleged to have sold $200 worth of cocaine on two occasions to an undercover officer. Agresti is charged with two counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance and two county of Criminal use of a Communication Facility. Agresti was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Stephen A. McBride and placed in the Pike County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail. According to Tonkin addition charges are expected to be filed against Agresti. The second arrest occurred on Nov. 20 in the Bushkill area. Detectives arrested Jason A. Zizza , age 35, of Bushkill, for selling oxycontin. According to the criminal complaint, Zizza sold oxycontin on two occasions to an undercover officer. Zizza is charged with two counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, and two counts of Criminal use of a Communication Facility. Zizza was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Jay Rose and placed in the Pike County jail in lieu of $40,000 bail. Tonkin thanked the Pennsylvania State Police and the Pike County Sheriff’s Department for their assistance with these arrests.
