without a scarecrow...contest The Old Lumberyard Shops were the Saturday setting for the third annual Scarecrow Festival. The public was invited to make their own scarecrows for the contest that goes on until October 25, when the winners can claim their money prizes. Despite mostly cloudy and blustery weather, the party spirit brought out many festival-goers.
