Creative minds for Pike

In the upcoming primary election, Chuck Pike is one of the best candidates running for the Delaware Valley School Board. Chuck is running for the two-year term and is an excellent choice to receive your vote. Chuck has been a resident of the Delaware Valley School District for 27 years. He has raised four children through the district and has been involved in nearly every aspect of their journey through education. Chuck has been a school board director in the past and is ready to take on the challenge again. Chuck has been involved in numerous activities including coaching Delaware Valley Babe Ruth baseball for 11 years, PAYAL football, Pop Warner football and organized the DVES PTA Basketball program for 6 years. He is also an active member of St. Joseph’s Church for 24 years, a Eucharist Minister of 16 years and currently serves on the Parish Finance Council. My personal experience with Chuck is through Odyssey of the Mind in which he has coached several teams throughout my time at Delaware Valley. He helped guide my team the past two years to a state championship and a high school record placement at World Finals. The only time Chuck did not attend a meeting with the team was when he was on a business trip or on Thursdays when he attends board meetings; his dedication is impeccable, intriguing and inspiring. The guidance and support that he provided our team was invaluable. Chuck believes the public education system is the cornerstone of our society and must be maintained as strong as possible. Chuck has a great understanding of the students at our school, whether it be our student athletes, students who are involved in extra/co-curricula’s or any student who is actively involved in the community and school, as well as teachers and support staff. The dedication and experience Chuck has to our community and school district makes him one of the most qualified candidates who is most in touch with the needs of the taxpayers, the students and the district as a whole. On May 19, I politely ask you to vote Chuck Pike for DV School Board. Richard Cheng, and the DVHS OotM Structure Team Milford
