Food pantry article
I want to thank the Pike County Courier and reporter Jerry Goldberg for the very well-written and informative article on the Holy Trinity Food Pantry that was published in the Feb. 20 edition. I have gotten numerous phone calls as a result of the article. Some have been from families who need help with food and didn’t know who to call. Many others have been from caring and generous people who have expressed a desire to help by donating food and money to the pantry. I am so very grateful to those folks for their kindness. The pantry could not exist without the help of compassionate neighbors such as yourselves. This has been a rough winter for many Pike County families. Many have lost their jobs and are in danger of losing their homes as well. We are so glad that we can at least help them to feed their families in their time of crisis. Thank you again to the Courier for getting the word out there that we are here and would like to help those families who are in need of food support.
