It is true and then ‘sum'

Re: Can it be true? Ms. De Graw did not do her research about kitten care. The sum of $125 is a bargain and I have receipts on file to prove this. I’ll make this short and to the point. Routine well care for a kitten up to and including spay/neutering is approximately $420. Free kittens are no bargain. The receipts I mentioned on file are for my two free kittens Luke and Lizzy. As you know, shelter adoption preparation has changed in the last 25 years. The biggest change is all animals are spayed/neutered before going to their adoptive homes. This is done to prevent more unwanted puppies and kittens. Animals are also tested for infectious diseases to prevent the spread to shelter animals and animals at perspective new homes. Without additional donations, shelters could not survive only on the adoption fees. So the next time any good citizen thinks about pet adoption, please remember you are doing a worthy endeavor and adoption is the best value! Leah Conti Milford
