About Rosemary Walsh, school board candidate
Rosemary Walsh (formerly Palermo) is excited to be running for Delaware Valley School Board. Her 3 children — David, Katie and Meg Palermo — all graduated from Delaware Valley and that foundation enabled them to successfully pursue their dreams in college and careers. She was an elementary substitute teacher when her children were young and just recently retired after spending over 20 years as a reading specialist at the Shohola Elementary School.
Rosemary has been interested in the workings of the school board for many years and regularly attends meetings. She appreciates the varied strengths of the board members and feels she could add a valuable perspective. She believes we must provide the best and diverse programs possible while being fiscally responsible. She understands the concerns of parents, taxpayers, and those on a fixed income.
Volunteering as a PTA officer at the elementary, middle and high school level, working at many school functions, and being actively involved at St. Patrick’s Church in Milford have enriched her life and helped to serve the broader community. If elected, Rosemary will work diligently for the safety and enrichment of our students. She would appreciate your support on Election Day, May 16. Thank you.
