Action Together NEPA will host Feb. 25 rally to protect health care

| 22 Feb 2017 | 11:00

Action Together Northeastern PA will host a health care rally on Saturday, Feb. 25, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Wilkes-Barre Public Square, Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
The focus of this rally is protecting Affordable Care Act (ACA), Medicare and Medicaid and federal funding to Planned Parenthood. This is part of a Call to Action by Democratic Leadership, including Bernie Sanders. There will be rallies held nationwide during “Resistance Recess” to protect health care from GOP threats to defund or privatize it. Our event is registered with OurRevolution.com. Dress warmly and bring friends!
Signs are welcome at this rally. For anyone who would like to bring a sign to this rally, Action Together NEPA just asks that you keep it related to health care. We want to make sure our message to preserve the ACA, Medicare, and Medicaid is clear and without distraction.
The mission of Action Together Northeastern PA is to serve our state as storytellers, event organizers and political advocates.
