Beeping metal detectors ignored at county building

To the Editor:
I think in the society in which we live in today. It is absolutely bizarre stupid and ignorant to have our Pike County administration building police allow anyone that works for the county to walk through the metal detectors once its beeping. I watched five people beep as they walk through that metal detector!
If I recall the major on the military base that open fired on service members had access and security. Shame on the county for being so ignorant and so stupid.
