We would like to take the time to thank all those involved with Country Ark Farm for its 30 years of service to our community.

Founded by Mike and Donna Ciancitto in 1991, this foundation aims to provide a therapeutic outlet for our disabled community through pet and recreational therapy. A core component of CAF is the safe and accepting environment it provides to all who are there.

Through the many years, CAF has touched the lives of hundreds of children and adults, many of whom grow up to return to the farm year after year and become family to the owner and staff.

Kaitlyn L., camper of 12 years, reports, “This is a great place to see my friends every year and to experience loving animals.”

Ryan L., camper of 10 years reports, “I’ve been going to Country Ark Farm for 10 years now and it is so nice to be able to go to a place where I am not judged and just have a great time. The camp has changed me through the years and made me feel like I was a part of something special. I love Mrs. Donna and the counselors there; they do a great job. I hope to make more memories there.”

A first-time camper, Mike S., reports, “It’s my 1st year at Country Ark Farm and I’ll be coming here for the rest of my life.”

It is clear from speaking with the families and clients involved, Country Ark Farm has made a salient impact in many of these individuals’ lives.

Although the current global situation did present new obstacles and logistic protocols to operate, Country Ark Farm was able to open its gate for its 20th year of summer day camp in 2020. Although this decision came with a lot of deliberation, Donna Ciancitto reported she did not want to let her campers down and is very excited that they were able to open and celebrate this special year with the kids! She states she is thankful for all the support of CAF over the years to continue serving our community, and specifically our disabled community.
