'Don the con' has lied again, this time about preexisting conditions
To the Editor:
Yet once again, the scoundrel “Don the con” has lied to the American people. Despite “Don the con” and the GOP’s pledges to support pre-existing condition protections as covered under current law, the House of Representatives recently voted to gut these protections. The Trump/Republican GOP agenda will now pivot to tax cut legislation that will largely benefit the richest amongst us. This is the Trump/GOP vision of making America great again. Sad!
Many of the Trump/GOP supporters seemingly care little about preserving preexisting conditions protections, just as they cared little to protect our nation from Trump’s own preexisting conditions of being a pathological liar and manic narcissist (look them up).
If one has a preexisting condition such as heart disease, cancer, diabetes, mental illness, or other common ailments, the Trump/GOP legislation will allow states to deny preexisting conditions protections to their citizens.
“Don the con” pledged he would preserve these protections while providing wonderful, affordable insurance for all citizens while reducing the cost of premiums and deductibles. Meanwhile, Trump recently praised the Australian health care system as better than our own. Another amazing Trump statement as Australia provides universal health care for all citizens!
Many in our nation agree with Trump’s statement; Universal Healthcare is the remedy, healthcare should be a national right, not a privilege.
