Electioneering should be done away from the polls

    To the Editor:
As I walked into the polling place at Dingman's to vote, I was bombarded with candidate literature and the candidates themselves trying to sway the undecided. The crowd of candidates and campaign workers created a logjam in front of the building making it difficult to enter.

I'm of the opinion that last-minute campaigning should be allowed at a minimum of 500 feet from the entrance of the polling place.

Candidates can thank people for voting the next day.
