I will work to provide a safe and enriching environment for all students

My name is Rosemary Walsh and I am running as an incumbent for the Delaware Valley School Board. Although this is only my fourth year on the board, I have been attending meetings on a regular basis for many years. I appreciate the varied strengths of each board member and believe that I offer a valuable perspective. My three children are DV graduates and that experience has helped them to realize their dreams in three very different career paths. I retired as a reading specialist at Shohola Elementary School, so I understand the challenges that our teachers, administrators, and students face. We must provide diverse programs for all of our students while being fiscally responsible. I have tried to understand all sides of an issue before I vote and am respectful of others opinions.

I have been a volunteer in many organizations in our community from PTA to my church, St. Patrick’s in Milford. These experiences have enriched my life and broadened my horizons about the needs of Delaware Valley. I enjoy participating in workshops that help me grow and learn new strategies and techniques.

If reelected, I promise to work diligently to provide a safe and enriching environment for all the students in our district. I am asking for your vote on May 18. Thank you.

    Rosemary Walsh
