    To the Editor:

This year we have a lot of contested races all around the county going into the primary election on May 16. Many of those races, including district justice and school board, have candidates who have cross-filed on both sides of the ballot.

It is critically important for each of us to cast our vote in the primary as those cross-filed races may put forth the same candidate on both sides of the ballots for the November election. I hope that you will make your voice heard by coming out to vote in this important primary election. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

One of the cross-filed races on the ballot is Magisterial District Justice. In the Milford, Westfall, and Matamoras area, Cristin Cavallaro is running for this prominent position, on both sides of he ballot. I have had the pleasure of speaking with Ms. Cavallaro. I believe she has the best temperament and demeanor for this position. She has high ethical standards for herself, is approachable and humble, and has already completed the required course successfully.

I will be casting my vote for Ms. Cavallaro on May 16. I hope you will cast your vote as well.

    Thank you neighbors!
