    To the Editor:
The Milford-Matamoras Knights of Columbus, John Paul II Council 13935, wishes to thank everyone who made our third annual "SOUPer Bowl" a huge success!

Proceeds from this fundraiser go to Hands of Hope for the homeless in Pike County. We are especially grateful to Chef Al Helms and the following restaurants that provided gallons of delicious soup:

Apple Valley Restaurant, Balch's Fish Fry, Carini's Cucina and Pizzeria, Edgewater at Best Western, Failte Irish Pub and Steakhouse, John's of Arthur Ave., Jorgenson's at the Dimmick, Milford Diner, Mount Haven Restaurant, Perkins Family Restaurant, Peter's Europa House, Ray-N-Charles, Stewart's, Tequila Sunrise, The Grill, The Grotto, Two Rivers Grille, and Waterwheel Café.

We would also like to thank Price Chopper Supermarkets for providing the containers for the soups.

Finally, our heartfelt thanks go to the many community members who purchased the soups. You have all helped us to help our neighbors who are experiencing difficult times.
