    To the Editor:
    The Mayor of Milford Borough for only a year and a half, Sean Strub has shown a remarkable affinity for the office.
    At once passionate and inquisitive, Sean’s personal approach of transparency, collegiality, and consensus has enlarged discussion at council meetings, where he sits as a non-voting member (he can break ties).
    His specific responsibility over the police department has already brought positive change:
    Return to 24-hour coverage
    Pedestrian patrols on every shift
    Purchase of body cameras
    Narcan training
    A three-person Public Safety Committee
    Further, Mayor Strub can count as accomplishments the following:
    Created a shared Google calendar for Borough officials;
    Coordinated discussion among diverse parties on the Tom Quick Monument dilemma;
    Initiated thorough review of cable franchise with Blue Ridge;
    Raised private funding for lighting improvements in Ann St. Park;
    Coordinated government entities on funding strategy for repair of Brookhill Road (giving access to the river);
    Initiated pursuit of funding of the Milford Enhancement Committee’s “Northern Gateway” project, at the end of Broad St.;
    Encouraged commercial and residential investment in the Borough.
