No one is morally qualified to carry out death penalty

    To the Editor:
In the wake of Gov. Wolf's institution of a moratorium on capital punishment, there is sure to be a great deal of indignant howling from certain quarters, including quite a few of my fellow Christians.

I would simply like to observe that in the famous incident of the woman caught in adultery(John 8:1-11), Jesus did not come right out and say that capital punishment was wrong. He simply observed that no human being was morally qualified to carry it out.
