Republican apologies required

To the Editor:
Republicans up and down the 2016 Pennsylvania ballot should apologize to the citizens of Pennsylvania for their nomination and support of Trump. Likewise, Tom Marino and Pat Toomey need to apologize as they have disgraced themselves as key supporters of the racist bigot Trump.
Republicans and their (long tolerated) enabling of right-wing hate media now haunt America’s conscience with the culmination of Trump as the GOP’s presidential nominee. Our Nation’s political discourse has been severely damaged due to the Republican Party having clearly lost its moral compass.
The Trumps have become the face of a disgraced Republican/GOP. Using Trump’s own words: “Look at that face. Would anyone vote for that?" And the answer is: Only the deplorable.
