Thank you for your support

To the Editor:
We want to express our heartfelt thanks to the voters, our supporters, our tireless volunteers and members of our campaign committee who saw the need for us to continue our commitment to the initiatives, programs and efforts for all Pike Countians. We are honored and humbled that you have placed your trust in us.
The support we felt on Election Day was incredible, and we owe it to all of you. Your steadfast encouragement during a very long and, at times, very trying campaign proves that our slogan, “Pike County Proud” was the right one.
We are excited to continue our ongoing work with regard to the issues that face the county and you and your families. We look forward to building even better relationships with each township and its supervisors, keeping the communications open with state legislators, and continuing the fight to educate our citizens on health issue topics like tick-borne diseases and the drug and alcohol addiction crisis we face and deal with every day. Our steadfast commitment to job creation, affordable housing and support for our seniors and the less fortunate, deserved quality of life for our veterans, and the growth of our emergency services and volunteer base remain our top priorities. Not only are we thankful for your support, but also recognize the outstanding efforts of all the candidates who offered to serve their communities and seek solutions for public problems. It is not easy to put oneself out there in such a public forum, so we commend those with the initiative to do so.
As always, as your commissioners we will never make hollow promises-just give you hard work and proven results through initiatives that work and build a stronger community and strengthen our families. With your trust, we will continue to work tirelessly on your behalf to help address new challenges and to secure lasting and meaningful improvements for you and our future generations.
Again, we thank you for the opportunity to serve.
Together, we are Pike County Proud!
