'The flag should never be used as wearing apparel'

To the Editor:
I trust you are aware that the picture depicting Shepherd Fairey's "We the People" byline is in direct violation with the United State Flag Code Section 176, article D: "The flag should never be used as wearing apparel, bedding, or drapery." The woman in the center is clearly wearing the American Flag as headwear.
