Unity in the CommUNITY offers love knots for tree lighting

The holiday season is upon us, and the Unity in the CommUNITY (UITC) organization will be a part of the festivities at the annual Tree Lighting at the Milford Community House, 201 Broad Street. Sean Strub, Lisa Emery, and other members of the UITC group will be participating in the fun, distributing homemade “Love Knot” cookies, a traditional favorite this time of year. The “Love Knot” transcends time and cultures, representing love and our interconnectedness to each other. This is the overarching theme of the UITC group, and what “sweeter” way to deliver the message than in the form of a delicious holiday cookie!

Milford is an exceptional community, and during this holiday season, we have an opportunity to celebrate and honor what unites us. UITC is focused on positive community building during this holiday season and throughout the year. Our belief is that change happens best when rooted locally.
