To the editor: In the race for State Representative for the 189th district between incumbent John Siptroth and Donna Asure, voters have made it clear that they want action on the issues. I heard both candidates speak before Taxpayers United and Donna Asure’s high level of energy had everyone on the edge of their seat when she spoke about REAL Property Tax Relief. Voters need an experienced and effective fighter in Harrisburg. Donna Asure is the candidate for the job. She has that “Don’t tell me it can’t be done attitude” and the wiliness to work hard in a bipartisan manner to get things done. Donna said she will not only count on mailings to keep “in touch” with the people of her district. She will continue to pound the pavement in the district to be available to the people of the community. Donna can get results in Harrisburg on such issues as Real Property Tax Relief, Open space protection and development and health care. On election day (Tuesday Nov.7,2006) I urge all voters, Independents, Republicans and Democrats to vote for Donna Asure. John F. Kupillas Milford
