On the recent seniors' dinner at DVMS
From the gracious welcome, the efficiently served delicious dinner, to the deserved standing ovation at the end of a very talented “off Broadway” production - it is not enough to say just “Wow! What a night!” In this world of so much negative publicity, it was so refreshing to again recognize the tremendous job that the Delaware Valley School system does for our younger generation. Last Friday night, the faculty, administration and a vast number of students of the Dingman-Delaware Middle School, hosted the seniors of the Pike County district to a most delicious dinner followed by the production of “Guys & Dolls, Jr.” by a most talented group of students. The teachers and administration should be congratulated for finding the vast talents in their student body, for enhancing the talents the youngster have, and also for sharing it with the older generation. Thanks, Student body for making us feel so welcome and encouraged that our future generation is in good hands, meaning you. Thanks, Administration and Teachers for doing such a good job with your charges. And Thanks, to all that made a very enjoyable night for all of us ageing bodies. We will look forward to next year.
