Regarding Pike's recycling

Let’s not lose sight of the big picture. We are such a consumerist and wasteful society and collectively we are terrible stewards of our environment. It has taken a long time for people to get in the habit of recycling and we’re still barely there. So discouraging folks from recycling by logging their license plates, issuing fines, etc is not the answer. I do not have the answer, but I am also not in the position charged to come up with the answer. Let’s do our part to take care of the planet for those generations that come after us. Hank Lee Milford
