Sherwood unforgiven

To the editor: Congressman Don Sherwood has crawled out from under his rock in a transparent attempt to redeem himself with the citizens of Pike County. Curiously, the local headlines treated him like a triumphant hero for simply doing his job. When will you realize, Don, that the people’s trust is not for sale and money is not a magic balm to cover up a bankrupt soul? The good people of Pike County are ready for true and principled leadership. We can and will do much, much better with Chris Carney as our new Congressman.
