Tried and true answer

To the editor: I read the article “What do you do with someone else’s ashes? (Friday, August 18, 2006) with some interest but also with some sadness. The story concerned the cremains of Joan Kelleher which are unwanted or unclaimed and sitting on a shelf at My Place Sales. It seems no one knows what to do with the deceased woman’s ashes. I have a tried and true suggestion: Show respect to Ms. Kelleher by doing what we traditionally have done. Give her remains a decent burial. Very Rev. Gerald F. Mullally Saint Patrick’s Church Milford
