Vote for independent leadership
Fisher, Greenlaw, Lutfy, Pike, Schor are independent thinkers, leadership for education and economic balance. Why do I want to continue to be on the Delaware Valley School Board? I believe in giving our children an excellent education and the taxpayers economic balance. I have a good perspective of the various needs of our students. While I understand and support the need for fiscal responsibilities, I do not feel that we should sacrifice the quality of our children’s education. I am an advocate in educating the whole child, which encompasses the cognitive, emotional and social components of each individual student. It is prudent to provide and improve the quality of education for ALL students in a safe and healthy environment. Transparency in our district is extremely important. At this time it is fractured in many ways. Our community has many individuals that truly care about the Delaware Valley School District. We should give every , parent, taxpayer, student, and citizen the opportunity to know what is going on at every board meeting, word for word. I strongly support the idea of having our school board meetings viewed on web-cam. Thank you to the Pike County Youth Coalition for working so hard to try and make that happen. Having transparency, along with family and community involvement, will have a profound impact on our students achievement. A strong school board is made up of individuals who agree to disagree on issues. The members of the school board need to respect each other and the opinions of one another. The board should never leave messes for the next board to clean up. The school district and our community would benefit from sound decision making. This includes entertaining all ideas from the board as well as our students, school staff, taxpayers and citizens of our great community. Vote Fisher, Greenlaw, Lutfy, Pike, Schor because you matter and we care. Susan Schor, Delaware Valley School Board Director Milford
