St. Josephs Place, a member of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth), offers outstanding 24-hour nursing care, long term and short term rehabilitation, tracheostomy care, CVA/Strokes, orthopedic rehabilitation and after-care, respiratory services, as well as psychological services in a comfortable and safe setting that residents can call “home.”

St. Josephs Place is licensed by the New York State Department of Health and is conveniently located on the first floor of Bon Secours Community Hospital in Port Jervis, NY.

Residents benefit from the attention of a team of highly trained, experienced Physicians/Hospitalists on premises 24/7, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Registered Dietitians, Certified Nursing Assistants, Activities Personnel, Social Worker and Pastoral Care Providers. Podiatry, audiology and dental services are also available.

At St. Josephs Place, we recognize the importance of person-centered recreational programs so our staff incorporates an enrichment program of activities to promote an optimal quality of life for each resident. Physical and mental stimulation is provided through music, art, games, crafts, education, entertainment, exercise, outings and holiday celebrations. Community involvement includes regular visits from service clubs, school groups, scouts, volunteer pet therapist and church groups.

St. Josephs Place hosts enjoyable and interactive dining activities such as “Grandparents Day,” “Residents & Family Annual Christmas Party,” and “Dining on the Deck” to name a few. Nutritional Care Planning and menu personalization is offered to our residents to include their favorite foods and snacks, Menu specials are offered several times monthly, including our summer-long BBQ’s to enhance their dining experiences.
