Anne Baglione and Yankee Rose to perform at canal park

— Hudson Valley favorite Anne Baglione with special guests Yankee Rose will play at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26, at the D&H Canal Visitor’s Center, 58 Hoag Road (just off Route 209), in Cuddebackville.

Annie Baglione plays guitar, bass, concertina, and accordion, and performs solo and as part of the band Breakneck Annie. She has coordinated the museum’s concert series for the past three years, and has been performing at least once every season since the inception of this series by the late musician and museum member Miro Ludvik.

Yankee Rose is a musical trio that includes Terri Massardo, Steve Massardo, and Terry Seeley. Their career spans more years than any of the members cared to acknowledge. “They’re a great band but even more than that, Terri, Steve and Terry make everyone laugh, sharing the stories behind their songs,” says Gretchen Weerheim, executive director of the museum. “The whole audience cracks up at their stories. It’s a real evening’s entertainment, not only music, but almost like you’re listening in on their conversation. Yankee Rose is just plain fun.”

Admission to the show is $7, or $5 for museum members. Light refreshments will be served.

The museum is open by appointment. For more information about its mission to preserve local history or any events, call 845-754-8870 or check the website: http://neversinkmuseum.org.
