Annual open house on at St. Luke Lutheran Church
GREELEY St. Luke Lutheran Church in Greeley extends a friendly invitation to everyone to attend the Annual Open House on Sunday, Aug. 30, at the Church on state Route 590 in Greeley, rain or shine. There is no admission charge. Come and spend the day, or as your schedule allows. All are welcome! The day will start with Worship at 9:30 a.m., during which time the Vacation Bible School classes will conduct their closing program. A picnic lunch will be provided for all beginning 11:30 a.m., until 3 p.m. There will be plenty of hamburgers, hot dogs, ice cream, lemonade, coffee, and dessert. There will be games and activities for all, balloons, and face-painting, Live music will be provided by “Black Gold” for listening or dancing! Tours of all the St. Luke facilities will be conducted and will include the Sanctuary with its beautiful stained glass windows, the Fellowship Hall, the Church Office, the Preschool, the Sunday School, and the Good Cheer Food Pantry. The Lackawaxen Branch of the Pike County Library is also on the premises, and the Librarian will be conducting a book sale that day. Come out and enjoy the food and fellowship and see what St. Luke Church has to offer the community. This is the congregation’s way of saying “thank you” to the community for supporting us by attending our lasagna dinners, helping with the Good Cheer Food Pantry and supporting St. Luke Preschool.
