Are there ghosts at the Columns?

MILFORD — The Columns Museum in Milford has been the subject of many ghost investigations over the years. And quite a few museum guests have experienced something a bit out of the ordinary on the second floor...if they profess to be in tune with spirits, entities, or whatever it is that is other worldly and not perceivable to all.
There's also the recurring claim that the ghost of Juliette Peirce, wife of famed philosopher Charles Saunders Peirce, is trapped between nether worlds and is destined to roam the second-floor hallway of the Columns, eternally attached to the many items from her Pike County home displayed in the museum.
Could it be true? Are there ghosts at the Columns?
On Friday, Oct. 28, at 8 p.m., the Sullivan Paranormal Society will reveal the findings of their multiple visits to the McLaughlin home, also known as The Columns Museum. The team has been to the museum on several occasions, each time discovering something that compelled them to return for further investigation.
Join other ghost seekers in the Foundation Room for an evening with The Sullivan Paranormal Society. Admission is $5. Refreshments will be available.
The museum is located at 608 Broad Street. For more information call 570-296-8126 or visit pikehistorical.org.
